Children

Childhood is a crucial time to introduce children to Jesus and build a firm foundation of faith. As a church, we take seriously our role in partnering with parents in the faith formation of their children. We seek to offer the best possible Christian education we can by equipping caring and enthusiastic teachers and leaders, using curriculum that is rooted firmly in the teaching of the Scriptures and offering fun and creative opportunities for children to build relationships and enjoy coming to church.

Sunday school classes are age appropriate, interactive and fun Bible teaching using the curriculum "Walk With Me" from Faith Alive Christian Resources. For more information about this curriculum please visit www.walkwithmeonline.org.

Nursery
We provide a nursery service and a supervised time for pre-school children. Our Nursery and Day Care center is located in the basement of the church.

Pre-school
If you have children in kindergarten and younger, classes happen downstairs in the main Sanctuary building. The preschool classes are overseen by our Children's Department.

Elementary
If you have children in grades 1 through 6, classes happen in 76 Building, on the 2nd and 3rd floor. For a detailed curriculum see our prayer brochure. Grade 5&6's are given a devotional handbook, Walk with me Jesus: Devotions for you & your family by Karen Wilk published by Faith Alive Christian Resources.

Operation Christmas Child
In 2007, the children's Sunday School participated in Operation Christmas Child. Thank you for your support in contributing items and money to help them pack boxes to send to kids in other countries for Christmas. Thanks!
