Operation Christmas Child
This year, the children's Sunday School will be participating in Operation Christmas Child and would like to invite you to participate by contributing items and money to help them pack boxes to send to kids in other countries Christmas.
What is it?
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the message of God’s unconditional love. Each gift is a special reminder to a child that he or she is loved and often opens doors for Samaritan’s Purse to provide other aid.
Operation Christmas Child focuses on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ—God’s greatest gift. This project also makes an impact on the people who pack them. Our prayer is that the children will learn in a tangible way how it is greater to give than to receive this Christmas.
How Can You Help?
We invite you to partner with the children in this project by donating shoe boxes, purchasing items to put in the shoeboxes or by giving money so that items can be purchased for the boxes.
Deadline
The children will be packing these boxes on Sunday, November 4th so please bring your donations in by Sunday, October 28th.
