Galatians 5:1–12

Paul declares, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” Believers are called to stand firm and not return to the bondage of legalism or self-reliance. Christ has set us free to live in the joy and assurance of God’s grace. True righteousness is received through faith and expressed through love. Rather than relying on outward religious practices, believers are called to trust in Christ and allow their faith to be demonstrated through lives of love and obedience. In what areas of my life am I learning to rest more fully in God’s grace rather than in my own efforts? How is my faith being expressed through love toward others? Lord,Devotional
