Paul opens with a magnificent hymn of praise, celebrating the spiritual blessings believers possess in Christ. Chosen by the Father, redeemed through the Son, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, believers are recipients of God’s eternal plan of salvation. Paul then prays that believers may receive wisdom and revelation to know God more deeply. He asks that their hearts be enlightened to understand the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of His power at work in those who believe. How do the spiritual blessings in Christ shape my identity and confidence in God? In what ways can I grow in knowing God more deeply and personally? Lord, thank You for every spiritual blessing in Christ.Devotional
